The dense urban environment is a hectic, pluralistic and complex construct. Buildings abut buildings, spaces abut spaces. These result in queer, biazzare yet interesting spaces that offer potential to serve as nodes before one transits to the next space.
A pavilion is designed as a potential for establishing new relationships between people, spaces and functions. Spaces and volumes are now transformed into rooms for temporary habitation.
SITE LOCATION
Chevron House is a high-rise skyscraper located in the central business district of Singapore. It is located on 30 Raffles Place, in the financial district of Sinagpore. The development is primarily used for office rental and sale. The site includes Change Alley and Incomes @ Raffles which shares a four-level retail podium with the commercial building. It has various accesses to Raffles Place MRT Station, including a direct underground access and two oither exits outside the building.

DESIGN CONCEPT
FORM
Modulation of pods using the 'folding' method that integrates seatings with floors and ceilings.
Semi enclosed pods that provides “privacy’ for users whithin a public space.
Different sizes of pods to cater different kinds of activities.
COLOURS
Defines zoning for each program
Acts as contrast to the heavily urbanized area
Allows users to transition into a differerent envrironment/ atmosphere
